With the Alphacool Tec Protect 2 Clear coolant you get a ready-made mixture that already contains all the necessary additives and can be used directly from the bottle. The additives contained ensure a lower surface tension of the water, which significantly reduces the formation of foam and air bubbles. Alphacool Tec Protect 2 protects the circuit from bacteria and algae formation and is an ideal lubricant for all water cooling pumps. Tap water contains many substances that do not belong in a water cycle. Chlorine is an integral part of tap water in many countries, as it is intentionally mixed in. All these substances can contaminate the coolant, which can lead to heavy deposits in the cooling circuit. The fine cooling channels of the CPU/GPU coolers as well as the radiator fines are very quickly affected by such deposits. While you can disassemble the coolers for cleaning, it is almost impossible to completely clean an infested radiator. Osmosis water is water in its purest form.
