Southwire's 600 Volt control cables are ideal for wet and dry areas, running through conduits, ducts, troughs, trays, direct burial, or aerial support. They operate continuously at up to 90°C normally, 130°C in emergencies, and 250°C during short circuits. UL-rated for Class I, II, and III, Division 2 hazardous locations, and exposed runs with three or more conductors.
- Copper Conductor: Class B, Stranded, Bare or Tinned (ASTM B3/B33, ASTM B8)
- Insulation: FR-XLPE Type XHHW-2 (Size 14 AWG and above, UL listed)
- Filler: Polypropylene or Paper
- Drain Wire: 22 AWG Tinned Copper (ASTM B33)
- Shield: Aluminum/Polyester Foil, 100% Coverage
- Jacket Removal Aid: Rip Cord
- Outer Jacket: Black, Thermoset Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE-TS)
